Jiiva's Role To Akshay

Jiiva shot to fame playing a photo journalist in Kho. Directed by K V Anand, the movie went onto become a huge hit and Jiiva emerged the numero uno star in Tamil cinema. There was a mad rush to do the Hindi remake of the movie and rumours were that many stars including Salman Khan wanted to do it.


The Hindi remake titled Sathyagraha is being directed by Prakash Jha, who is known for
films with socio-political themes.
Says a source close to the development, 'Akshay has signed on Jha’s film. He will be playing the role essayed by Jiiva in the original. The unit is now trying to get the dates of top stars for the other crucial characters.'
