Ekta Kapoor claims ‘The Dirty Picture’ as the most pirated film:Cinejwala:

Filmmaker Milan Luthria along with Ekta Kapoor and the entire cast of ‘The Dirty Picture’ launched the DVD of the film. It was quite surprising to launch the film’s DVD just after two months of the film’s release to which Ekta reasoned saying that ‘The Dirty Picture’ is the most pirated film of last year. She further added that releasing its DVD soon would have served as a solution to stop the act of privacy.



Meanwhile, the film’s lead actor Vidya Balan who had swept away all the awards for her bold act in the movie supported Ekta’s decision. Vidya happily admitted that she can now enjoy the movie on DVD and can again recall all the memories related to film. ‘The Dirty Picture’ proved out to be one of the biggest blockbuster hit of 2011.
