Doctorate for Ambarish is The Fans Demand

While several big programs are half way to celebrate the 60th birthday of pride of Kannada cinema Ambarish (Amaranath is his original name) actor and politician, the fans of Ambarish in various places are seeking for honorary doctorate for Ambarish before he reaches 60 years on this May 29.

The actors of Kannada cinema Rajakumar, Vishnuvardhana, Bharathi, Leelavathi, Ashwath KS, Girish Kasaravalli got honorary doctorate from difference
universities of Karnataka. Srinath, Sunder Raj were honored with doctorate degree by foreign universities. The only doctorate holder for submitting study paper is Jayamala former KFCC President, actress of high respect in Kannada cinema.

For rebel star Ambariah actor of over 38 years in Kannada cinema industry, former Minister of Congress-I ruled government – was given the doctor role in many Kannada films and he was called as Dr Ambarish in ‘Swayamkrishi’ Kannada cinema of Veerendra Babu. In fact the call for doctorate for Ambarish came up at Mysore media address of the film ‘Swayamkrishi’.

A massive public function on May 29, books on Ambarish, documentary, a new film release ‘Chowdaiah’ are the happenings on that day.
