Moving strategic in some crucial decision, the CPM here gave a deadly blow to the Telugu Desam Party. The equations assumed by the Telugudesam for by-polls are not going as expected.
CPM rejected the request of TDP for their support in the coming by-polls. In a strong voice, ace leader Raghavulu declared not to join hands with the Telugudesam for these elections and decided to go single. TDP leaders like Devender Goud mediated between the two parties saying these elections are the result of KCR's conspiracy but not people's interest.
Despite huge pressure and the appeasing actions of yellow-men, the CPM leaders said a strict no, say sources. CPM has already fielded candidates from four constituencies. However, the TDP top-brass is still trying to pacify the senior Communist Party leaders for a tie-up. Looks like, TDP is not confident of its victory in the by-polls.
