Though the TDP and TRS were trying desperately to woo the Left Parties for the alliance in the ensuing by-election, the communist were are not ready to fall in the trap once again.
Be it Congress or TDP or TRS, all the parties have used the services of the Left Parties during the time of elections to win as many seats as possible and abandom them after that. Seems like, the communists have learnt their lesson from the past experiences. Now, they are gearing up to contest the by-elections independently.
"Chandrababu and KCR are known for their use and throw policies. They are treating Left Parties like condoms. So, it's better not to form an alliance with them," said a communist party worker.
Both TDP and TRS have appealed to the Left Parties to withdraw from the contest in by-elections and extend support to their party candidates. But the Left Parties have turned down the plea. The CPM has already announced its candidates in four constituency and the CPI is also planning to field its candidates in the by-elections, which is not a good news for TDP and TRS.
