Barfee to release on July 13:Cinejwala:

Anurag Basu's most ambitious directorial venture, 'Barfee' is slated for July 13 release. UTV Motion Pictures’, 'Barfee' stars Ranbir Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra and Tollywood actor, Ileana D' Cruz in the lead. Earlier, Basu had announced that he will release 'Barfee' post IPL. Rumors were going round claiming that the female lead of the film, Priyanka Chopra had delayed the film. Later on 'Life In A Metro' filmmaker, rubbished all the reports.


Ranbir essays a role of a deaf person in the film meanwhile Priyanka would be essaying the role of a mentally challenged girl. This film marks Bollywood debut of South star, Ileana, who plays a pivotal role of a narrator in the film. Priyanka Chopra had worked hard to get into the character of a mentally challenged girl by visiting a mental asylum. Earlier Katrina Kaif and Asin Thottumkal were roped in to play the role of Priyanka.
