Anna Hazare appeals filmmakers to make more films on corruption:Cinejwala:

Social activist Anna Hazare who is fighting against the issue of corruption got highly impressed after watching Rumi Jaffery’s ‘Gali Gali Chor Hain’. Anna permitted the entire cast of the film to hold a special screening of the film and even gave thumbs up for the film. Anna is now urging other filmmakers to make more films based on the pressing issue of corruption. Anna feels that films like ‘Gali Gali Chor Hain’ would help him to pass on his message and
gather support of Indians to eradicate terms like corruption from the society. Anna enjoyed the film, appreciated film’s director Jaffery and his entire cast.

‘Gali Gali Chor Hain’ revolves around a life of common man who is fighting against corruption. Though the film is based on a serious subject it is also high on entertainment level reveals film’s lead actor Akshaye Khanna. The film also features Shriya Saran and Mugdha Godse and is about to release by February 3.
