Vizhigal wins Silver eye award:Cinejwala:

'Vizhigal' is a short film which deals with issue of Eye donation. The short film won the 'Silver Eye Award' in the National level competition called 'Drishti 2011' held at Agra. Vizhigal is directed by Aravind Jayabal who is also the founder and creative director of Raindropss. It  has lyrics penned by Niranjan who is the grandson of Mahakavi Bharathiyar

Aravind Jayabal won the 'Best Concept Director' award among all short films screened in the festival. He said i dedicate this success to my family, well wishers and all who supported me through these days.

Their second venture was a video song titled 'Oru Thuli Oli' (a drop of light) which was a theme song for World Disability day. It had lyrics by Madan Karky and music by Dev Guru. Also co-directed by Bhuvan Eshwar.

Seems like a team who are striving hard for the welfare of the society.
