Vidharth shines in Kollaikaran:Cinejwala:

Kollaikaran is Viddharth's next. The flick is directed by Tamilselvan, who used to assist Seenu Ramaswamy previously, and will also see Sanchita Shetty sharing screen space with Viddharth.

While Myna gave Viddharth a huge break, his second film as hero Mudhal Idam won him accolades for his performance.
In Kollaikaran Vidharth's character slowly progresses from a petty thief to doing heinous crimes thinking that he can escape unharmed. What happens to the character as the movie progresses forms the crux of the story.

A major chunk of this film has been shot from Kumbakonam and the surrounding areas. The film spins around a village-based character, and has romance and humour too, says the director.

On his part, Viddharth says, 'it is a movie with a difference. It is laced with humour all through but carries a strong message.'
The movie has music by Johan, while cinematography is by Yuvaraj.
