Here is Sathyanarayana Shastry triple centurion of Kannada film muhurths. A very humble, simple and obviously god fearing Sathyanarayana Shastry started off in 1983 with a Telugu film muhuruth in Bengaluru and it was Rs.50 as remuneration for his work. He is today 301 not out from ‘Rascal’ Kannada cinema that went on the floor at Kanteerava studios.

65 years Sathyanarayana Shastry maintains Sri Sathyanarayana Swamy temple behind Kapali theatre. Shastry is lucky mascot for Kannada film producers. He makes a detailed Pooja at the muhurths and nowadays he is paid between Rs.1000 to Rs.1500 for his two hours task of appeasing the almighty for the film success.

Sathyanarayana Shastry is living with his wife and two sons. Both are engineering graduates.
