Shahid upset with ‘Chitthiyan’ rumors:Cinejwala:

Just recently it was reported that Shahid Kapoor was vying to bag the role of a lead protagonist in Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s next film ‘Chittthiyan’. Along with that it was also reported that Chopra was keen to cast Ranbir Kapoor instead of Shahid Kapoor who was apparently competing for the same. But it is now heard that all of the reported gossips were untrue as Shahid had turned down the very film a good eight months back.

rounds as he instead of competing for the film had shunned the offer long back. He apparently feels that the production house people are spreading these reports with his name in centre to gain publicity for the film. And now that Ranbir has been approached for the film, he too is not showing great interest in it as he too like Shahid isn’t impressed with the offered script. It remains to be seen who leads the film finally.

The film however is a two hero project, while the search for the main protagonist is still on the second lead has been finalized as Sharman Joshi who has already signed the film.
