A R Rahman is on the line of fire following his wishes to music composer Ouseppachan for songs in Dam 999 being selected for the race to win Oscar Awards. A section of Tamils condemned him for greeting the Dam 999 crew.

Says Rahman, ' I just wished a colleague in the industry all the best. I don't know the political sensitivities behind the issue as I was busy working in a Hollywood project for last three weeks'.




Rahman extending his Christmas and New Year greetings said, ' I just read papers to know about the dam issue. I toe Dr Abdul Kalam's line in this issue. Hopes for a peaceful solution between two States'.
