'Panjaa' Fears for 'Businessman'!:Cinejwala:

Will ‘Dookudu’ mania continue for ‘businessman’? Is there a chance of creation of new records in Tollywood yet again? The kind of craze going around for Mahesh Babu in current times is making many of distributors and exhibitors to go mad on ‘businessman.’ True that ‘Dookudu’ has grossed highest of amounts in many centers making producers of ‘businessman’ sell the distribution and exhibition rights at highest prices ever seen in Telugu cinema.

‘Distributors are quoting nearly 60%-70% of ‘Dookudu’ revenues as price for each center of ‘businessman’ that too as MG. Yet competition is high among the exhibitors. This is where a new danger is peeping.

Audiences never think from producer, distributor or exhibitor point of view. If film is good, they will rush to theatres else losses will be very high with high range of investments poured in for ‘businessman.’ Even with moderate rates paid for ‘Panjaa,’ film is faring very low at Box Office. So, there are fears now among distributors as how far ‘businessman’ will perform for recovery and how safe their investments are,’ said one of the exhibitors who purchased the film.
