Pak removes ban from 'The Dirty Picture':Cinejwala:

Balaji Motion Pictures’, ‘The Dirty Picture’ was banned from a theatrical release in Pakistan. The Pakistan Censor Board Earlier banned the movie by reasoning that the movie had adult and controversial content which is not suitable for audience of Pakistan.

The film also had objectionable dialogues which were unsuitable for the viewership in Pakistan. But finally after the delay of one week, the movie will be releasing today, 9th December in Pakistan. In India,
Milan Luthria’s film was given an ‘A’ rating and was passed without any cuts by the Indian Central Board of Film Certification.

Well this is not the first time that the country has banned an Indian movie, earlier too, Pakistan banned Aamir Khan’s ‘Delhi Belly’ for a theatrical release.

Vidya Balan, Emraan Hashmi, Naseeruddin Shah and Tusshar Kapoor starrer, ‘The Dirty Picture’ hit the theatres last week in India and is running successfully at the Box Office.
