Oomai Vizhigal to be remade:Cinejwala:

The latest buzz doing rounds in the industry is that yesteryear hit film of Aabavannan's Oomai Vizhigal is being remade. Cinematographer - director Vincent Selvah is making the attempt.

Made in in 1986, the movie went on to become a big hit. When Vincent was contacted, he said, 'Yes, I did approach Aabavaanan sir for the title Oomai Vizhigal for my next. Due to various reasons he could not oblige and so I named my film Moongil Vizhigal. It’s a commercial thriller and a fresh script'.
