Akshay denies buying Kolaveri Di rights:Cinejwala:

Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar was recently in news for buying the Hindi remake right of this year’s sleeper hit song, ’Kolaveri Di’. Reports claimed, Akshay left behind Shah Rukh Khan who had then shown an interest to buy the Hindi rights of famous Tamil Movie song.

Akshay even had a meeting with the singer Dhanush where the duo sealed the deal of the remake. However, Khiladi Kumar has now denied rumours of buying remake rights as he feels that the Tamil song is already a hit and therefore there’s no point left in acquiring the remake rights. Instead, ‘Kolaveri Di’, Akshay has acquired the rights of a popular Telugu song for his forthcoming Hindi movie. This song will be sung in Hindi.
