Versatile actor and producer Dr Mohan Babu has made his debut today exactly 36 years ago as an actor. His first film Swargam Narakam was released on November 22, 1975 in Andhra Pradesh. The film is directed by Dasari Narayana Rao. From there, there is no looking back for this talented actor and now he is undoubtedly one of the most reputed actors of Telugu film industry.

Mohan Babu is popular for his unique dialogue delivery and often compared to legend NTR in this aspect. He acted with almost all the top heroes of South Indian Film industries. He was honored with Padma Shri by Government of India in 2007 for his services to the film industry. He also served as Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha.
