Imtiaz keen on Rockstar concert in Kashmir:Cinejwala:

Film maker, Imtiaz Ali who did a Rock concert in Mumbai for his recent release, Rockstar’s promotion along with the lead actor, Ranbir Kapoor, music maestro AR Rahman and singer Mohit Chauhan was planning to do similar concert in Kashmir. But later, the film maker and the other members got busy post the film’s release. Imtiaz Ali has not given on the hopes to do such a rocking concert again and confirms that he will do it soon for the Kashmiris. Major portion of the film was shot in Kashmir and thus Imtiaz wanted to thank the people residing over there in Kashmir for their support and co-operation.

The Film maker is thankful to the authorities there, particularly the police department, who were extremely helpful. Imtiaz also rubbishes the rumours about security problems, stating that Kashmir was one of the “safest and smoothest shoots” he had in his career.
