Deepika avoids rumors and controversies:Cinejwala:

Just recently it was rumored that Deepika Padukone and Chitrangada Singh were at loggerheads. It was heard that while shooting for the film ‘Desi Boyz’, both the girls clashed over a pretty dress which they had set their eyes on. It was rumored that they were on the verge on getting into an ugly fight and the cold war was persistent between them as well.

It was even heard the fact that Deepika was seen all over in ‘Desi Boyz’ promos and Chitrangada was given little screen time in the theatricals also fueled the rumor further. It was said that Deepika was heavily promoted while Chitrangada who has yet not proved herself as a successful commercial actress was given less footage in the film’s promos.

However Deepika recently took the matter in her own hands to clarify these defaming reports. Deepika stated both Chitrangada and she are mature enough to handle these controversies. And stated that they are not silly to fight over such petty issues and nobody can take away the credit from Chitrangada. Deepika stated that after spending so much time in industry she has learned to handle these controversies and gives them a deaf ear.
