There are many good moves noticed from the new President of Karnataka film Chamber of Commerce KV Chandrasekhar in a short span of time of taking over.
What he says from his assessment is that the ‘unity and oneness without dodging on colleagues’ would definitely take the Kannada cinema industry to a good position.
KFCC President KVC had recently taken up the ticket pricing in multiplexes and urged for uniform policy what they maintain throughout the country. That is welcomed by many of the industry friends but there was opposition. On the title issues we have a separate committee and the pulling of legs with names is happening. I feel we should think of goodness and forget the minute tussles. I have noticed many such in my short regime says KVC. This vengeance should be given up is the frank opinion of KVC.
On the Government of Karnataka setting up a welfare fund in the recent meeting KVC asked for change in the bylaws for it. The present approval caters to only a few sectors. When the government of Karnataka gives such relief it should be even for the film media that is also part of the Kannada cinema industry feels KVC.
The popular statement KVC if quite often making is related to the newcomers. The fresh talent should acquaint with so many things and make a film. The old and new talent mix up would give good results he feels.
KVC was speaking at Kalabhaireshwara Crations launch program on Monday evening.
