Shilpa elated with people’s response :CineJwala:

Bollywood’s leggy lass Shilpa Shetty of lately has been away from the charismatic world of cinema however despite of the self imposed exile from the glamour industry she continued to hog headlines, courtesy her various business ventures. But now it is time for Shilpa Shetty, the actress to garner accolades for her work. Her stalled film ‘The Desire – A Journey of a Woman’s release was on the back burner since quite some years. Nevertheless the film has started to gain the right momentum after it was recently praised at the ‘New Jersey Independent South Asian Cine Fest’. The film got a humongous response there and Shilpa too was highly appreciated for her work in the unconventional film. She was even nominated in the best actress category however she lost out in that race. But despite of this Shilpa is happy that her work was recognized and praised.

She also revealed that her mother Sunanada Shetty who has been a fore runner in taking the film to various places, is now working on the aspect of releasing it in India. According to Shilpa they are working out on the possibility of releasing the film in the year 2012.
