When the Kannada film industry is flooded by non Kannada films worth Rs.250 crores in one week (Ra.One, 7am Arivu and Velayudham) it is time to think patiently says actor cum politician Jaggesh drawing his attention on how to get hold of investment and profit for Kannada films.
Jaggesh the sitting vice president of Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation held a meeting recently and presented his mathematics. According to him only eight heroes film could survive and like how power star Puneeth Rajakumar calculates – one film on floor and one film on screen it is possible to make substantial loot in the box office.
If more than one hero film release in the present scenario the existence becomes a problem. The KFCC hearing to the new mathematics policy of Jaggesh advised ‘Vishnuvardhana’ and ‘Jarasandha’ to maintain the gap. Jaggesh who went with the new policy of releasing one film hero in one week rebounded for his film ‘Bodyguard’. On 4th of November ‘Bodyguard’ and ‘Madhuve Mane’ are releasing.
Very practical in thinking Jaggesh says with increase in theatres the craze is captured in one week for the Kannada film investment the return is possible.
