Mankatha : Game Begins :CineJwala:

Ajith's Mankatha,  directed by Venkat Prabhu, is all set to hit screens this September. Mankatha is a boys' film and the story revolves around five persons; among them four are bad and the fifth is very bad (Ajith aka Vinayak), said Venkat Prabhu.

The director thanked Ajith and Arjun for accepting the roles. Venkat Prabhu confirmed that Aijth has no double role. Interestingly,when Venkat wrote the first draft of the script, Ajith was never on his agenda. He kept his usual gang of boys in mind while writing the characters. Initially, they even considered Vivek Oberoi for the central character, but that didn’t work out.

Mankatha has a huge star cast that includes Trisha, Anjali, Arjun, Vaibhav, Premji, Ashwin, Andrea and Mahanth. The film is produced by Dhayanidhi Alagiri's Cloud Nine Movies and Yuvan Shankar Raja is the music director. Reportedly Mankatha is an action thriller which narrates the story of match-fixing sagas in international cricket matches.
