The Hindi film ‘Singham’ (starring Ajay Devgan and Kajal Agarwal with Prakash Raj as villain) protest all over Karnataka is unwanted. There is nothing degrading the Kannadigas in that film. Protest is very wrong says Prakash Raj.
What exactly is the scene that has lead to such violence in Karnataka? Prakash Raj says he plays a Marathi guy in the film Jaikar Shikre is his role name. The role of Ajay Devgun says in Hindi to my character that is - ‘Tum Jaise Kuttho Ke Liye, Mein Hi Kafi Hoo, Maharashtra se hazaro Log ke Zaroorat Nahin…
Prakash Raj further says my character should be seen as a role I have played. He urged all protestors to call of the protests.
Meanwhile the protest in Bengaluru Tribhuvan, Radhakrishna theatres, Hubli Apsara, Dharwad Sangam, Raichur Mili theatres there has been wide protests on ‘Singham’ film Hindi version.
Around hundred plus protestors have been taken to custody and some of the theatres received damages. As of now screening of the film has been stopped.
