Kollywood Senior Actor Kamal Haasan Honored By Governor

The 150th anniversary celebrations of the Income Tax department were celebrated in Chennai yesterday and Ulaga Nayagan Kamal Haasan is one among the special invitees to the function.

The actor who is always a regular tax payer was honored by the Income Tax department. The function witnessed the presence of Tamil Nadu Governor Surjit Singh Barnala, Cancer Institute chief Dr Shantha and ICAI president V Murali among others.


Tamil Nadu Governor Surjit Singh Barnala presented a certificate to Kamal and greeted the actor. The actor has expressed his thanks to the Income Tax department and Governor.

Tamil Nadu Governor Surjit Singh has advised everyone to pay the tax regularly and also praised the Income tax depart for their efforts which had successfully crossed one-and-a-half decade.
