In a recent interview during Panjaa release, Pawan Kalyan has clearly specified that he is in desperate need of money and that is the reason he is signing back to back movies.Though the reason behind those shocking statements is still not clear, there are speculations that after bailing out Naga Babu for Orange movie and other investments in Praja Rajyam, he fell short of money.Apart from signing back to back movies, he kept amateur and Tamil directors aside for a change. He is in talks only with star directors.Proving the facts, one recent news has solidified the speculations.
"Prince of Peace", the prestigious movie which was started in 2010 with Pawan Kalyan in an important role, is now officially shelved. It was story on Jesus Christ and the unit even visited Israel to look for locations.Sources suggest that Pawan Kalyan has understood that commercial viability for the project is highly doubtful and in the current situations, he cannot afford for such complete off-board experimentation.
Moreover the project is put on hold since a year and there are no signs of development.Singeetham Srinivasa Rao, who is supposed to direct the movie, has clarified it in an official meet."No way Pawan can afford to work in this project now.First of all, the announcement of this project was not well received by his fans itself, many opined that the project should be shelved and fortunately here comes the news." said a elated fan.
