Sallu Bhai has started shooting for Arbaaz Khan’s Dabangg 2 and the actor is leaving no stone unturned to make it a huge success. As per recent reports, the actor has taken a production call and asked cinematographer Senthil Kumar to pack his bags. Apparently, the two had an argument over a scene and Senthil was replaced by Aseem Kumar, who has been working with Salman on Ek Tha Tiger.
Senthil is a well known cinematographer in the Telugu film industry and has done films like Magadheera, Ashok, Chatrapati, Arundhati. Dabangg 2 would have been a platform for him to start his Bollywood career.
As per sources, this step was taken in for the betterment of the film. Also, actors like Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan and Akshay Kumar have been in the industry for years and have the capability to take a production call. In the past, Salman gave his inputs for Bodyguard, which worked in favour of the film. Also, he had helped director Anees Bazmee during Ready and wielded the megaphone for some of the important scenes.
Allegedly, Salman was not able to work and get along well with Senthil. He had a mind of his own and didn’t cooperate with the actor. Well, the question here is, why didn’t Arbaaz approach Mahesh Limaye the cinematographer for Dabangg? Sources say that Arbaaz had approached him for the sequel, but he had to reject the offer as he is working on Madhur Bhandakar’s Heroine and couldn’t adjust the dates.
On joining the crew of Dabangg 2, Aseem Kumar told a daily, “I don’t know why Senthil is not doing the film anymore. I got a call from Arbaaz Khan. He asked me I was available to shoot for the film. I was glad to join the team. I start my work on Dabangg 2 from Tuesday. I have a great rapport with Salman Sir.”
Well, it’s time to see if this decision by Sallu Miya will work in the favour of the film.
