Rathnavelu to film Prince Mahesh's movie

Cinematographer Rathnavelu returns to Telugu cinema.

His camerawork in director Sukumar`s debut movie, Arya (2004), earned him good number of fans in Telugu and his reputation as creative cameraman was further cemented with Sukumar`s Jagadam (2007). But after the disastrous result of Jagadam and subsequent criticism for escalating budgets, Rathnavelu focused on Tamil and Kannada films.

And Sukumar went with other cameramen for his next movies - Arya 2 and 100% Love.
With Shankar`s Rajinikanth starrer Robot, Rathnavelu joined the league of top cinematographers in India. Now with the huge budget in hand for his new movie with Mahesh Babu, Sukumar has again roped in his good friend Rathnavelu.

The duo is currently in Bangkok scouting for locations for the film that will commence its regular shoot in a month.

Sukumar who is known for presenting heroes in most stylish manner insisted with his producers that Rathnavelu be on the board and the top technician obliged his friend Sukumar`s request, as Mahesh Babu is the hero.

Earlier, Tamannaah was considered for this film opposite but she is currently facing date issues. But she is hopeful of doing this movie. Meanwhile, producers informed us no heroine is selected for this film yet. The film is being produced by Dookudu producers.
