With the news of Megastar Chiranjeevi getting nominated for RajyaSabha becoming a hot topic, some news channels aggressively started 'sms' campaigns asking fans to wish Chiru. Many fans have enthusiastically written that 'RS is first step. PM post is next'. Is Chiru really a prime minister material?
After putting up a nominal performance in 2009 elections through his 'Prajarajyam', Chiru never evinced interest in State Politics. Like a hero on the silver screen, the acting legend might have thought of sitting straight in Chief-Minister post. Unfortunately, most people especially his fan-base got disappointed in the allocation of party-tickets. Severe rumors like selling party tickets and Allu Arvind's unclear strategies have tangled the party flag with scores of defeat at many places where a simple win is cake walk. What have looked more dignified is Chiru supporting Congress from outside like Trinamul or Samajwadi. But shockingly, the mega man has merged his party like a gross-vegetable vendor who just cares about the profit he earns end of the day. This act has earned him enmity at many places and with many persons including his brother PawanKalyan. Finally, after couple of insults and delays, Chiru became a Congressman with no 'power' in state.
When it comes to Delhi, there are many politicians from the biggest party of India who are intellectuals and orators. Chiru never displayed either his public pulling skills with his effective speeches or his firebrand responding to opposition that throws unexpected missiles. More than this RajyaSabha seat, Chiru may get more attention if he stays back with state-politics due to his 'megastar' mega image. Who will care for a south 'actor' and just an actor but not a politician in Delhi? All other actor politicians of South India first became Chief Ministers and then gave a thought for Prime Minister Ship. With too many intellectuals around, how Chiru did missed this small point that can affect his long-term stand in politics. With all these 'undeveloped' qualities of a politician, how can one expect him to become a future 'Prime Minister'? This is something everyone should realize, including Chiru and his fans!
Finally, one doubt arises for anyone who is closely following Chiru's political stunts. Like a flop movie gets kicked out of theatres in two weeks, is Megastar trying to put a full stop to his flop-political-show by taking this wanted exit? Only Chiru knows!
