Last Friday witnessed three major releases for Bollywood- Anu Menon's 'London, Paris, New York', Tigmanshu Dhulia's 'Paan Singh Tomar' and Aditya Datt's 'Will You Marry Me'. However, critics have given thumbs up for LPNY and PST, while WYMM has emerged as flop. Critics already edged out WYMM from the two films.
However, it is Pakistani actor Ali Zafar and Aditi Rao Hydari starrer rom-com that has overtaken Irrfan Khan's biopic on the Box office. Trade analysts suggest that Irrfan's movie was not publicized the way Ali and Aditi promoted their film. Also, rom-coms as a subject has always been B'town favorites and even added that LPNY might witness a major incline in its Box-office collections on weekends.
However, multi-starrer film WYMM that features Shreyas Talpade, Muzamil Ibrahim, Rajeev Khandelwal and Mugdha Godse was not well promoted and even lacked script which resulted in the movie's poor performance on Box-office.
