Rajinikanth has said that Kochadaiyaanwill be a Diwali treat to millions of his fans across the globe.
The Superstar, along with daughter Soundarya, K.S. Ravikumar and the film’s technical team, was spotted at the Chennai international airport on March 17, early in the morning. They flew to London via a British Airways flight at 4.10 am.
Addressing the media at the airport, a cheerful Rajini said, “Kochadaiyaan will be a grand venture. The movie will be released on Diwali.” Further explaining, he said, “The shooting commences on March 19 at London. The talkie portions and couple of songs will be shot by Soundarya over the next 20 days. Over 40 per cent of the film will be completed in the UK.”
Then, with his inimitable smile, he said, “You will get to see a youthful and energetic Rajinikanth in this film.” After the London schedule, some portions of the film will be canned in Tamil Nadu and Kerala, he added.
Ravikumar, who is supervising Kochadiayaan, said, “Rana will happen after KC. It will be announced at an appropriate time.”
Sources say that Sarath Kumar and others will be leaving for London on March 23. Deepika Padukone will also fly from Mumbai soon and join the shoot.
