Director Satyashiva’s Kazhagu with Krishna and Bindu Madhavi in the lead has been passed with a ‘UA’ certificate and the film is slated for release on March 9.
Krishna, brother of director Vishnuvardhan, has decided to experiment and try different genres in order to save his sagging career.
The actor who had two duds Alibaba and Katrathu Kalavu is still optimistic and is giving his best to make it big with Kazhagu which is a realistic film set in a hilly tourist spot.
Bindhu Madhavai plays the female lead while the cast includes Karunaas and Thambi Ramiah. The censor officials who watched the film appreciated the content, says the makers.
A major highlight of the film is the music by Yuvan Shankar. Said Krishna: “Though we were hoping to get a clean ‘U’ certificate, we didn’t want to cut some important scenes and kill the essence of the movie and hence opted for a UA.”
