Gutkha packet in Tirumala laddu: Govinda Govindaa!!!

A devotee was shocked to find a Gutkha packet in one of the laddus purchased at Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) prasadam counters.

This incident took place on Wednesday night, when the devotee purchased around 10 laddus after the darshan of Lord Venkateswara along with his family. Though the media brought this matter to the notice of TTD, the officials brushed them aside saying they didn't
receive any such complaint so far. This incident is a proof to show the degrading standards at the famous hills shrine of Lord Venkateswara, which is considered as the most sacred and one of the richest temples in the World.

It may be recalled that the Tirupati Laddu had also got the Geographical Indication (GI) patent rights. These laddus are best known for their uniqueness, as they were not produced anywhere in the world. But, incidents like the foor quality maintenance will damage its reputation. The TTD Officals shold wake up atleast now!
