With movies like 'Yamudu' and 'Rangam' setting a strong base for dubbed Tamil flicks in Telugu Industry, they are now flowing like bullets. But this time, the bullets got no proper 'gun powder'to fire their stamina at the Box Office.
For entertainment lovers, this weekend witnessed the release of Karthi's old movie and Aadi Pinisetty's epic flick. 'Malliagadu' starring Karthi and Priyamani is an old Tamil movie that had won numerous awards at various international film festivals. The film has won Best Actress National Award for Priyamani and Tamilnadu government's award for Karthi. However, the film hasn't appealed the Telugu audiences for its excessive rawness and overdose of Tamil flavor.
Same is the case with Aadi Pinisetty's 'Eka Veera' directed by the sensational Vasanthabalan. Neither proper commercial elements nor interesting screenplay are part of this film to make it convincing. This epic-drama set in the pre-historic ages has failed to impress Tollywood for its slow narration and predictable scenes. Critics are advising a safe-skip for it. This year, it is purely a show of pure-Telugu movies at the Box Office, as of now!
