Chiranjeevi is a selfless person: Botsa

Botsa Satyanarayana on Tuesday showered praises on Congress Rajya Sabha member Chiranjeevi describing him as a selfless person.

"The High Command has nominated Chiranjeevi to the Rajya Sabha to use his services in entire South India as a star campaigner for the party. He is a selfless person, who merged his own party with Congress for achieving the goal 'Social Justice'. He is fighting for the poor and downtrodden people. His active role will surely strengthen the Congress party," said Botsa.

Botsa's remarks can be seen as an attempt to lure Chiranjeevi, who is presently maintaining good relations with chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy. As the rift between Botsa and Kiran has deepened with the frequent ACB Raids on liquor syndicates in the Vijayanagaram district, the PCC Chief is eyeing the support of Chiru to settle scores with CM and to continue his stronghold on the party.
