Perfectionist Aamir Khan, who turns 47 today, has always struck a chord with his fans by churning out some stupendous meaningful cinema. Khan, in real-life too, is equally vigilant about the society and like a true Indian citizen, the actor showed concern towards the upliftment of children, which he thinks should be high on priority in the Indian budget. The actor spoke about the same, while talking to media on his birthday.
“The Common Budget should more focus on the future of our country i.e. children. There should be a healthy children's nutrition plan and secondly the budget should take good initiatives for education, especially in rural area,” elaborated Aamir.
Khan, who recently turned father again, further added, “I thank God for giving me all the success and happiness in my personal life in the form of my kid named Azad, who recently arrived in our lives.”
On being probed about the secret behind his success so far, Aamir at his modest best added, “There is no secret behind this. I would only thank my Ami and Abba Jaan, who have given me these genes. Whatever we are, is thanks to our parents.”
He also shed light on his forthcoming release Talaash and said, “Talaash is very close to my heart. The release date of the film has initially been postponed from Jan to June and it has been further pushed to either Nov 30 or Dec 7. I apologise for the delay as I’m aware how eager my fans are to watch the film.”
He went on to add, “Reason behind the delay is the television show. Actually, the set had caught fire and totally destroyed due to which shooting had to be postponed. So, the show got delayed a bit and I can’t focus on two things at a time because of which I have to further postpone the release date of Taalash.”
“I am very excited about my television debut so much so that usually I love and prefer to spend my birthday with my family, but today I need to focus and finish the shoot of my television show.”
“Right now, my life revolves around the show. Me and my team are trying to do something different. I have been working on this show for last two years. This is my life’s most ambitious project,” concluded the 47 year old actor.
