The battle ground of box office this week in Kannada filmdom is seeing the fortune of three films this Friday. AK 56, Tuglak and Parijatha are the three films set for release this week.
The biggest is ‘AK 56’ made in Rs.12 crore by Silver Screen Production house. This is the 25th direction of acclaimed commercial films director N Om Prakash Rao.
In ‘AK 56’ innocent is targeted as terrorist. This film sends a message to the law making authorities and it is relevant to the entire nation says director N Omprakash Rao. For the loss of colorful days for an innocent what is the remedy from the law enforcing authorities is the stunning question that is raised in this film. Dr Siddanth plays the lead with charming beauty Shirin. Suchindra Prasad, Avinash, Sumalatha, Sharathbabu, Bullet Prakash, Atul Kulkarni, Kishore Ballal, Ananthavelu, SAtyajith, Ramesh Pandit, Sangeetha, Suchitra are also in the cast.
S Manohar is the cameraman. Abhiman Roy has scored the music, Palani Raj is the stunt director. Tribhuvan and Harsha are the choreographers. In the assistant direction department Sarigaman Viji and Sumanath have worked for this film.
Paramesh and Premkumar ‘Parijatha’ – makers of Pallakki, O Gulabiye, Jeeva in the past P2 Productions is directed by Prabhu Srinivas and the film has the shades of Arya and Nayanthara starring ‘Boss Engira Bhaskaran’ it is learnt. Diganth and beautiful Aindrita Ray are in the sweet couple roles with Mukyamantri Chandru, Sharan, Kadhal Dhandapani, padmaja Rao and others.
Melody king Mano Murthy has given his best already as two tunes hit and Srinivas Devanand has done the cinematography, Ravi Verma has handled the stunts for ‘Parijatha’.
‘Tuglak’ by Aravind Kaushik for White Ayare Entertainment is on the oscillation of ordinary brain in society. When the protagonist is struck with two heroines who say I Love You what happens? You have to watch ‘Tuglak’. Aravind Kaushik has penned the story, edited the film and done the screenplay. Arjun Janya is the music director.
Manuyaplare is the cameraman and Ultimate Shivu has done the stunts. Rakshit Shetty, Meghana Gaonkar, Anisha Ummar, B Suresha, Bank Janardhan, Balu Nagendra, Biradar, Giri, Venkatesh Shastry, Kailash and others are in the cast.
