The Film Federation of India bundh call for proposed Service Tax on February 23 gets support from Kannada Film industry.
In a meeting on Tuesday evening the KFCC President KV Chandrasekhar stated the Kannada film industry would support the cause of FFI and join in protest. The KFI activities will be shut down and there will be no screening of films all over Karnataka on that day.
The permission has been sought for protest rally from Freedom Park on that day. In that case all KFI members assemble at Freedom Park and hand over a memorandum to the governor of Karnataka Hansaraj Bharadwaj.
However the final decision to the bund will be taken on 21st of February as the final round of meeting is scheduled between FFI and government of India says KV Chandrasekhar.
