Prateik Babbar and Amy Jackson starrer romantic flick 'Ekk Deewana Tha' witnessed a disastrous opening at the Box-office from the first day of the film's release. The first day opening of the film was about 1.03 crore. Later, the figures started gradually declining day by day following poor reviews by critics to the film.
Meanwhile, Karan Johar's 'Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu' continues to top the Box-office collections. Trade analysts suggest major reason for EMAET's on-going success is
the film's star cast B-town glitterati Kareena Kapoor and Imran Khan. However, EDT was much-hyped and even promoted highly if compared to Karan's film. Though, EMAET even witnessed a major decline at box-office in second week but still it is giving tough competition to Gautham Menon's romantic flick.
