The young actor is currently busy acting in Ishtam and Masala Cafe, directed by Sundar C.

Buzz is that Vimal has agreed to work with director Padma Magan next. Sources say that the movie is an off-beat one. Padma Magan had earlier directed Ammuvagiya Naan starring Parthibvan. Though it was acclaimed critically, it did not make huge profits.
