Head honcho producer of UTV, Siddharth Roy Kapur confirmed that they are remaking the film in Hindi. “We’re definitely considering remaking our Tamil production Vettai in Hindi, since it’s a huge success down south”. While the film
had R Madhavan and Arya in lead role, it is said that the makers are considering casting Shah Rukh Khan and Imran Khan in the remake. It is said that they are keen to cast both Shah Rukh and Imran as they both truly represent their respective eras and are perfect to essay the roles. Nonetheless Siddharth revealed that no one has been signed officially, “Nothing has been finalized yet. It’s too early to talk about the details” added Kapur.
However if they manage to cast Imran and Shah Rukh together it will interesting to see Aamir’s Nephew Imran working with his uncle’s arch rival SRK.
