The sandalwood queen Ramya is very passionate about puppies and she has one in her home at Lavelle Road. Knowing this fascination of Ramya writer Ghouse Pheer penned the story and that is nothing but ‘Lucky’. A pug dog is used in ‘Lucky’ cinema and it is called ‘Zuzu’ in the film. The film ‘Lucky’ is part of autobiography of Ramya.
In the film ‘Lucky’ there is a song featuring pug Naan Yen Madli Swami Nan Hudugi Naayi Premi… and the title of the film is also for dog in the film of producer Radhika Kumaraswamy.
Actress Ramya making special mention of the dog said it was given lunch break, mood was well maintained, it was saying in a caravan with Yash, when it was not well the shooting was pack up was the order. There were some scenes in the film that were natural because I am also fond of dog disclosed Ramya.
Writer Ghouse Peer knowing the fascination of dog by actress Ramya prepared the script four years ago and polishing it. He narrated the script to Ramya two years ago and it was Yash who was supporting with the script always.
The dog was not present at the audio release event of ‘Lucky’. A doll of the dog shape (pug) was placed instead.
