Tamil Film Producers Council (TFPC) slammed FEFSI, the workers union in Kollywood, for obstructing the ongoing shooting of 16 films on Tuesday wage revision.
A press release from the Producers Council here said, 'since the association has no president at this moment, in a bid to attain power, a group of men with vested interests has been cheating the members in the pretext of holding protests to get them wage hike.
They are misguiding their members and the truth will come to light soon'.
The producers said that they were ready to immediately to sign an agreement to provide a hike of Rs 100 to all workers.
FEFSI is meeting today and wait for more retaliation now.
