GV Prakash has been named the best composer for the year 2011 for Mayakkam Enna and Aadukalam .the young Composer can’t stop tweeting abou it. He says, “For any musician, the awards are a boost of moral. It makes me want to work harder. It’s a feel good film. I have tried something different in the BGM from my previous lot. Mayakkam Enna has orchestral music,
which will sound like a symphony. Woodwind instruments have been used, which would produce a new sound.

Both Selva and Dhanush are fast learners and would even come up with simple lyrics in a matter of few minutes. I used to take just half an hour to compose tunes for those lyrics. I like Voda Voda and Naan Sonnadhum Mazhai Vandhudicha. Voda is already a chartbuster and I could feel it myself when I went to Theni. Lot of youngsters started singing that song when they saw me! I play all my albums to her and she gives her perspective.  Voda Voda is the favorite song for my Mom A.R. Raihana.
