Forest brigand Veerappan’s wife Muthulakshmi has sougt a ban on a movie Vanayudham, a bio-pic on Veerappan by director AMR Ramesh saying it portrays her husband and the family in poor light.
Muthulakshmi said that A M R Ramesh, the film’s director had never discussed the story with her. 'The film portrays my husband and our family in bad light. I have serious objections to the film being released in Tamilnadu. It must be banned,' she said.
Muthulakshmi, who spent six years in the custody of special task force and three years in a Karnataka jail in connection with various cases in which her husband was involved, said the portrayal of her as a cruel woman in the film would influence pending cases against her.
