Music composer A. R. Rahman has now landed in trouble reasoning an upcoming flick ‘Ek Tha Deewana’s song titled ‘Hosanna’. Apparently, Rahman is facing rage from Christians and Jews over the track, as the word ‘Hosanna’ is a prayer in Bible used by both Jews and Christians. Now both the communities have accused the music composer, Fox Star Studio and Sony Music from hurting their religious sentiments.
A Christian religious committee, The Catholic-Christian Secular Forum (CCSF) has strongly objected the song and said that holy word ‘Hosanna’ is used for romantic and vulgar depiction of film’s lead stars Amy Jackson and Pratiek Babbar. Meanwhile, the committee that is highly upset with A. R. Rahman has demanded an apology from the national award winning music composer. CCSF has also demanded to edge out the song from the film.
