At the age not to die prolific writer and director of Kannada films Tushar Ranganath passed away late on Tuesday night. He was just 35 years of age and sought after dialogue writer in the beginning days later turned director from ‘Ghulama’ with Prajwal Devaraj and Biaenca Desai. His next direction was ‘Kanteerava’ with action hero Vijay, Shuba Punja and Rishika Singh. Both the films were for Ramu Enterprises the prestigious banner of Kannada cinema.
As a dialogue writer Tushar Ranganath acquired more prominence in ‘Rakshasa’ Kannada cinema of Shivaraj Kumar.
Tushar Ranganath suffered cardiac arrest at Mysore during the shooting of ‘Kanteerava’ was advised proper medical care. He did not give prominence to health but only to work put him to another cardiac arrest says the industry sources. Director Tushar Ranganath who fell ill during the shooting was asked to take rest for one month by producer Ramu but he came a few days later in wheel chair and completed the shooting.
At the Bengaluru Turf Club century star Shivarajakumar remembered Tushar Ranganth association and he urged the gathering to mourn for two minutes for his demise.
Tushar Ranganath another film was announced recently but before the launch he has left from this earth.
