Prashanth is smiling all the way. The actor is quite content with the response for his latest release Mambattiyan, directed by his father Thiagarajan.

Mambattiyan was a remake of yesteryear hit titled the same that featured his father in the lead role.

In Mambattiyan, Prashanth is paired up with Meera Jasmine, who reprises the role of Saritha in the original. Mumaith Khan plays the part played by Jayamalini.
