MAA to felicitate ANR:Cinejwala:

The Movie Artists Association (MAA) has decided to felicitate Dr Akkineni Nageswara Rao on January 22 in a grand style at Hyderabad. According to its president Murali Mohan, the function will be graced by entire Telugu film industry. The reason for these celebrations is ANR has received India’s second highest honor Padma Vibhushan award by the Government of India.

The event was supposed to be held few months ago but due to some undisclosed reasons it was delayed till now. The awards were announced in January, 2011 by the Indian Government. That means, the function is being organized exactly one year after he receives the award.

A couple of days ago, ANR have suffered a big loss in his personal life as his wife smt Akkineni Annapurna passed away due to prolonged illness.
