The government of Karnataka encouraging the regional languages and tribal subject besides the children and historical films has given room for people with Rs.10 lakhs to launch the films.
There is a statement in Gandhinagar that films are made today for the satellite rights. That is true from the results of the films in the last two years.
There are some people in the art category who make the film in less than the subsidy amount of Rs.10 lakhs and then beg the government for subsidy using influencing and sometimes paying bribe.
One such film went for song recording recently is ‘Lambani’ language film ‘Ek Chorir Saki’. Former minister of Karnataka government BT Lalitha Naik son Omprakash is all in all in the film.
At a private studio in Yeshwanthpur the song recording for the film was held. Well known light music and playback singer BK Sumithra and son of Ustaad of light music in the yesteryears P Kalinga Rao – Vasanth P Kalinga Rao has lent his voice for the first time.
Omprakash Naik is the director and actor in lead role. This is a film on the Lambari culture and tradition. Former Minister BT Lalitha Naik was seen in paltry roles in the past is also in the supporting cast.
